Based in his Red House Studio in Austin, TX, Graham balances scoring work with album production, community endeavors, and live performance. From his Creative Capital Award winning and currently touring Pancho Villa from a Safe Distance, to Golden Hornet’s The Sound of Science with Kronos Quartet’s former cellist Jeffrey Ziegler, Reynolds' work can be seen and heard on stage and on screen around the world. Graham has scored over seventy films and TV episodes. His collaborations with Richard Linklater include the films Last Flag Flying, Bernie, Before Midnight, A Scanner Darkly, and the upcoming Where’d You Go Bernadette, starring Cate Blanchett, while the others have featured Robert Downey, Jr., Jack Black, Shirley MacLaine and many more.
Dance
Graham has been composing for dance for more than twenty years. Frequent collaborators include Stephen Mills and Ballet Austin as well as Allison Orr and Krissie Marty of Forklift Danceworks. His work is featured in the Silver Docs award-winning Trash Dance.
theatre
As a company member with the internationally acclaimed Rude Mechs theatre collective, and resident composer with Salvage Vanguard Theater, Graham composes regularly for theatre. In 2018, his original score accompanied the Rudes’ Field Guide at the Yale Repertory Theatre and the workshop production or Adrienne Dawes’ Casta with SVT.
